I want to welcome you to the Pungaloong's Court; it first started at 88.1Fm band in Toronto on the program West Indian Flames, www.flame.fm where we discuss issues uncensored.
The Pungaloong's court is a live forum, freedom of expression and speech, discussions of day to day life, styles, habits and just simple bacchanal, real passa passa.
The meaning of baccanal has vast meanings in the English translation and can be spelt in several different ways here is a simple e.g. of what it means: bacchanal - a drunken reveler; a devotee of Bacchus, used of riotously drunken merrymaking; "a night of bacchanalian revelry"; "carousing bands of drunken soldiers"; "orgiastic festivity",
In the west Indies traditionally for west Indian’s baccanal means festivity and merry making, with controversial fun!
This is exactly what the pungaloong's court is all about fun, fun, fun.
The words used on the Pungaloong's court a lot is “passa passa” the meaning of passa passa is similar to baccanal.
It simply means a lot of talk or information, uncensored information, the real deal.
In other countries passa passa may have a different meaning, but here in Toronto passa passa is a dance, we have the soca passa passa started by Greenz Connection and the regular passa passa started by soulvibes( see their website http://soulvibezent.com) and continues till today.
For us just as the parties, this stories of passa passa in the pungaloong's court continues.
For privacy in the Pungaloong's court we use a lollipop flavor, everyone has a special flavor and that’s their name.
We have the most exquisite flavors of lollipops, and a forum for the crew; please visit www.thefmgirl.ning.com for more info on choosing a flavor and seeing who is already there.
Don’t forget to log on to the Pungaloong court each and every week and send your questions to dear Mercedez at flamefm@gmail.com
You might just hear your story being aired live on radio and get fed back from the lollipop crew all over the world.
Thanks for all your love and support
Mercedez the fm girl
